Q: How do I reset the indoor client bridge/access point back to factory default settings?
A: With the device powered on, hold down the reset button located next to the Ethernet port for 5 seconds.

Q: How do you configure a static IP address on a Microsoft Windows operating system for initial setup of the client bridge or access point?
A: Click on the following link to go to Microsoft's tutorial: http://technet2.microsoft.com.

Q: How many clients can associate to an Access Point?
A: An Access Point is a shared medium and acts as a wireless hub. The performance of each user decreases as the number of users increases on an individual AP. Ideally, not more than 24 clients should associate with the AP because the throughput of the AP is reduced with each client.

Q: What are possible sources of interference for the radio frequency (RF) link?
A: Interference can come from a number of sources, such as 2.4 GHz cordless phones, improperly shielded microwave ovens and wireless equipment from other manufacturers.

Q: What is a POE?
A: PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) eliminates the need to run 110/220 VAC power to wireless Access Points / Client Bridges and other devices on a wired LAN. Using PoE, system installers can run a single CAT5 Ethernet cable that carries both power and data to each device. This allows greater flexibility in locating the AP's and network devices and significantly decreases installation costs in many cases. PoE begins with a CAT5 "Injector" that inserts a DC Voltage onto the CAT5 cable. The Injector is typically installed in the "wiring closet" near the Ethernet switch or hub.

Q: What type of RF connector is on the 2611CB3+ Deluxe or 3054CB3+ Deluxe?
A: The RF connector on the 2611CB3+ Deluxe and the 3054CB3+ Deluxe is a Reverse Polarity TNC.
