Q: Will the SR4 be compatible with software currently supporting standard Atheros 802.11 cards?
A: Yes, the SR4 will be compatible with any software with Atheros AR5006 chipset support.

Q: Is the SR4 FCC certified? How about CE?
A: The SR4C has a modular certification under the FCC Part90Y rules. It is the first modularly approved radio specifically designed for 4.9GHz performance. There is no CE support as this product is specifically for the FCC 4.9 GHz public safety band.

Q: Does Ubiquiti support software development for a 4.9GHz driver?
A: Yes, we can help with Linux driver support. In addition, we offer a WindowsXP utility and driver that support both the SR4 and SR4C. For more information, please email sales@ubnt.com.

Q: Is this a complete working CPE board?
A: Yes, the LiteStation2 is a new product from Ubiquiti which combines SR2 performance with a host microprocessor for a complete CPE solution.

Q: What software runs on LS2?
A: The LS2 will come pre-installed with LiteStation OS containing a simple, intuitive, and robust web utility interface. The units will be software upgradeable to add more advanced features in the future.

Q: Does the LS2 support POE?
A: Yes, the LS2 does support POE operation up to +18V DC.

Q: Does the LS2 offer lightning protection?
A: The LS2 does have some solid transient protection built-in, but cannot be guaranteed to withstand lightning strikes.
