 Poynting Antennas  www.poynting.co.za From its roots in 1990, Poynting Antennas has grown to become a substantial supplier of advanced antennas. Givati Fourie and Associates began in 1990, doing antenna and RF consulting, antenna placement studies by simulation, and specialised antenna design. In 1997 Poynting Innovations was founded, and grew while doing consulting, RFID tag design, and modest antenna production. The year 2000 saw the launch of Poynting Antennas, an antenna manufacturing company to complement the design skills in Poynting Innovations. Currently based in Wynberg, Sandton, in the industrial heart of South Africa, Poynting has two buildings totaling 2300m2 for administration, engineering and production. The company has grown to employ 165 people in 2006, with a turnover of about R30m (US$6.5m).   |
